Ryton RFC completes annual Durham County RFU and RFU audits to confirm and ensure all our welfare procedures are up to date. We act upon the actions advised to us and the attached Safeguarding Policy outlines what we expect of all parent volunteers and club officials to protect those in our care.

Hello. I am Danny Meek - dannymeek77@gmail.com and I am the Club Safeguarding Officer @ Ryton RFC and have been involved for many years as a coach, volunteer and via safeguarding capacities.

Please see attached an annual briefing issued to coaches and Volunteers, the Club Safeguarding Policy, Whistle blowing Policy and Regulation 15.

We cannot stress enough how important it is that we are compliant with RFU policy and strive to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young people within our care. I will be at the club to monitor coaching practice throughout the season and to meet with coaches, volunteers and parents.
